Discovery Tours is synonymous with excellent service.  Our customer service model is coveted by competitors and provides your group with a seamless, streamlined process from the time you book until the time you arrive back from the tour.  While on tour, our professional staff will be there every step of the way to ensure that all you have to think about is your group.

While on the trip, carefully-selected licensed guides and a professional Tour Manager will be in charge of your tour program.  We provide you with promotional ideas and materials to assist you in planning, promoting and operating your tour program.  Discovery Tours handles all of the details of your trip, even when the unexpected happens.  These are a few of the many ‘extras’ clients of Discovery Tours have come to expect over the years.

DISCOVERY TOURS IS ‘FEE FREE’

When you choose Discovery Tours there are no registration fees and no multiple payment fees.  When reviewing contracts or proposals be sure to look for items in fine print or pages listed as ‘term & conditions’ that may be worded in legal language.  These items usually consist of cancellation penalties, refund policies, administrative or late fee disclosures, registration fees and contract terms that you may not want.  These items may affect the parents of your students and cause you problems down the road.  Discovery Tours does not charge any type of non-refundable registration fee or charge parents any late payment fee.

ACCREDITED STUDENT TRAVEL PROVIDER

Discovery Tours is an active member of the American Bus Association (ABA), the National Tour Association (NTA), the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland.  Our membership in these reputable organizations attests to our integrity and reputation in the student tour market.

DISCOVERY TOURS CARES ABOUT YOUR FAMILIES

Due to recent events, cancellation policies have become more of an issue with parents and schools.   Discovery Tours is one of the only student tour operators that in most cases will not keep 100% of the tour cost at any point due to cancellation (please refer to our Term & Conditions for specifics).

Every Discovery Tours tour is custom-designed.  We listen to what's important to you and your group, then build a tour that meets your curricular needs and interests.  Our staff will partner with you while planning your program.  Discovery Tours offers you the opportunity to select options that best meet the educational, financial and age-appropriate needs of your students.  Since you know the desires of your students and community best, working with your personal Tour Consultant will develop an itinerary that is affordable and unique.

ONE-VOICE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Your Discovery Tours personal Tour Consultant is your direct contact person for ALL tour communications.  This ‘one-voice’ system simplifies the communication process and makes it more effective for you.

YOU ARE INSURED

Every tour participant is insured from the moment that the tour begins until it ends.  Along with our motor coach companies, Discovery Tours is insured and carries a major liability policy.  We also provide, upon request, individual accident, illness, dental and life coverage for each participant.
